The University Grants Commission (UGC) is seeking Expressions of Interest (Eol) from writers/critics and higher education faculty members (HEls) to write undergraduate-level textbooks in 12 Indian languages for the social sciences, sciences, and arts. This is in accordance with NEP 2020.

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the deadline for new admission to the July 2024 academic year. Students planning to apply for the July 2024 session of online distance learning (ODL) and online programs will now have another registration deadline. The revised deadline is 15th October 2024. Previously, the registration deadline for the ODL and online programmes was 30th September 2024.
