IGNOU launches MA in Spanish

The Master of Arts in Spanish (MASL) program has begun at the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) School of Foreign Languages. Interested candidates may apply online at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in for the IGNOU MA in Spanish for the January cycle. Translation studies, interpretation, and linguistics are examples of practical modules included in the program, according to IGNOU.
This curriculum has been designed to give students a thorough understanding of Hispanic literature, history, and culture, enabling them to understand the current trends in the area. After completing the MASL curriculum, candidates will be able to articulate and understand a variety of aspects of Hispanic cultures.
Eligibility to apply for IGNOU MA in Spanish Program
Additionally, IGNOU has established a set of qualifying standards that applicants for this course must fulfil. They can review the IGNOU requirements for eligibility before applying to the MA in Spanish program.
They must have a bachelor's degree in Spanish from an accredited college or university. It might be a foreign university or one in India. Also eligible to apply are individuals with a bachelor's degree in any field who have added to their education a B1 level of Spanish language proficiency (as defined by the CEFR) or an advanced diploma of proficiency in Spanish from an accredited school or university.
