JEE Main Exam Introduction:

JEE Main, also known as the Joint Entrance Examination Main, is a national-level entrance exam held in India for admission to undergraduate engineering programs at different universities, including the National University of Technology (NIT) and other well-known engineering colleges. The test examines a candidate's comprehension and performance in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, which generally encompass the 11th and 12th-grade curriculum. It is a preparatory test for the more specialised JEE Advanced, necessary for admission to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).

  • The final examination of the 10+2 system (12th), conducted by any recognised Central/ State Board.

  • Final examination of the two-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the National Defense Academy
  • Intermediate or two-year Pre-University examination conducted by a recognised Board/ University.

  • Exam - Choice of paper - 1 or 2 or both. Candidates must also select the preference of exam language in which they want to appear
