Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur started in 2008, as a public technical college located in Jodhpur withinside the country of Rajasthan in India. It is one of the 8 new Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) set up through the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India under The Institutes of Technology (Amendment) Act, 2011 which announces those 8 IITs in addition to the conversion of the Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University to IIT. IIT Jodhpur has moved to its sprawling state-of-the-art permanent residential campus on 852 acres.Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur approved by AICTE. Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur was ranked 43rd place among engineering colleges by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) in 2021.
