Parliamentary committee raises concerns over SC/ST caste in Indian institutes
The Parliamentary Committee on the Welfare of ‘Scheduled Castes’ and ‘Schedule Tribes’ has raised concerns about empty reserved category positions at the ‘All India Institute of Medical Sciences’. The committee stated that numerous SC and ST applicants were "deliberately declared unsuitable" due to "biased assessment" by AIIMS screening panels.
UGC announces development plans for Higher Education Institutions
The University Grants Commission (UGC) has issued guidelines for institutional development plans at higher education institutions (HEIs). The guidelines were released to help HEIs achieve academic, research, and teaching excellence. It will argue for multidisciplinary subject integration, as well as the incorporation of vocational education, training, and skilling. The HEIs will be prepared for the future by developing a 15-year vision and plan.
Government of India announces Scholarship Programme for Economical Unstable Students!

CBSE BOARD ADMIT CARD IS OUT NOW!
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) issued the CBSE 10th and 12th admit card 2024 in February 2024. School principals and private candidates can obtain CBSE 10th and 12th admission cards from the official CBSE website, cbse.gov.in. As per the release schedule, the CBSE class 10th exams will be conducted from February 15, 2024, to March 13, 2024, Whereas the class 12th exams are scheduled from February 15, 2024, to April 2, 2024.

Alert! IGNOU Admission 2024 Deadline Extended
The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the deadline for new admission to the July 2024 academic year. Students planning to apply for the July 2024 session of online distance learning (ODL) and online programs will now have another registration deadline. The revised deadline is 15th October 2024. Previously, the registration deadline for the ODL and online programmes was 30th September 2024.
KEAM 3rd Round Counselling Final Allotment
The Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) 2024 Round 3 seat allotment results were announced by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala on 6th of September 2024. Candidates who have registered for the counselling process can access the results by logging into the official website i.e, https://cee.kerala.gov.in/ with their application number and password.

The University of Delhi's Non-Collegiate Women's Education Board (DU NCWEB) has announced the third cutoff list for B.A and B.Com courses. Students who have submitted an application for admission to DU NCWEB in 2024 may access the third cut-off list by visiting the official website, ncweb.du.ac.in.
