The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay will shortly launch an Interdisciplinary Dual Degree Programme (IIDDP) in Quantum Technology. The course, according to Suddhasatta Mahapatra, an assistant professor of Physics at the institute, would be provided by the Centre of Excellence in Quantum Information Computing Science and Technology (QuICST). The Centre, which will open in August 2022, aims to "bring together a diverse set of expertise available at IIT Bombay towards innovation, education, and entrepreneurship in quantum science and technologies." Mahapatra is also the chairman of the QuICST.

The State Bank of India Foundation has offered a Rs 22.5 crore grant to the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT-B) to develop a banking data and analytics hub. The centre will address the issues confronting India's banking and financial services sectors. The announcement occurred on the 68th Bank Holiday. The hub will include a 10,000-square-foot laboratory and will support research and skill development in data analytics and artificial intelligence. The grant underlines the relevance of data analytics and artificial intelligence in banking.
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT)Madras Pravartak Technologies Foundation has partnered with “Vidya Shakti” and OpenMentor effort to educate children in Uttar Pradesh through Online lessons and virtual reality. Softsmith Infotech Private Limited's CSR effort is OpenMentor. This effort mentor to close the ‘knowledge gap’ thats has grown as a result of COVID - 19 outbreak among childrens from urban and rural communities. The classes emphasise language fundamentals as well as mathematics and science.
IIM Kozhikode Admissions 2023: The Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode (IIM-K) has welcomed 601 students under its flagship Post Graduate Programme (PGP), PGP-Liberal Studies and Management (PGP-LSM), PGP-Finance (PGP-F), and Doctoral Programme in Management (PhD) for the academic session 2023-24. According to the official release, pupils from all backgrounds have been accepted into the programme. There are 45 per cent female candidates among the 601 students. PGP-LSM has the most female candidates (52%), followed by PGP (48%), and PhD (47%).
Convocation Ceremony at IIM Sambalpur: The sixth and seventh annual convocation ceremonies at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Sambalpur have finished. The sixth (2020-22 batch) and seventh (2021-23 batch) convocations were held. Yashi Sharma of the 2020-22 batch and Astha Garg of the 2021-23 cohort were both awarded the Chairman's Gold Medal for Scholastic Performance for achieving first place in their class based on the highest CGPA.
IIT Kanpur's technological company incubator, the Startup Incubation and Innovation Centre (SIIC), has inaugurated its Hindi Publication Division. By presenting pioneering research and projects in Hindi, this section strives to make SIIC IIT Kanpur's innovative work more accessible to a wider audience. Prof. Abhay Karandikar, Director of IIT Kanpur, Deputy Director Prof. S Ganesh, Prof. Ankush Sharma, Dr Nikhil Agarwal, Professor Amitabha Bandyopadhyay, and Mr Piyush Mishra attended the inaugural ceremony.
The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the deadline for new admission to the July 2024 academic year. Students planning to apply for the July 2024 session of online distance learning (ODL) and online programs will now have another registration deadline. The revised deadline is 15th October 2024. Previously, the registration deadline for the ODL and online programmes was 30th September 2024.
The Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) 2024 Round 3 seat allotment results were announced by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala on 6th of September 2024. The University of Delhi's Non-Collegiate Women's Education Board (DU NCWEB) has announced the third cutoff list for B.A and B.Com courses. Students who have submitted an application for admission to DU NCWEB in 2024 may access the third cut-off list by visiting the official website, ncweb.du.ac.in. Furthermore, the admission process has commenced. Additionally, students may consult the University of Delhi's official website, du.ac.in, to verify the cut-off list.
The Telangana State Council for Higher Education (TSCHE) commenced round 1 of the registration procedure for TS ICET counselling 2024 on 1st September 2024. The registration will be done at the official website tgicet.nic.in. Candidates can register till 8th September 2024.

The Symbiosis International University (SIU) has announced the results of the Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) 2024 test on 08th January 2025. Candidates who took the exam can access and obtain their scorecards from the official website, snaptest.org, by logging in with their candidate credentials.
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee released the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2025) admit card on 7th January, 2025 at gate2025.iitr.ac.in. The examination is scheduled for 1st, 2nd, 15th, and 16th February 2025. It will last three hours.
The Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, has released the IIT JAM exam 2025 admit card on its official website. Candidates scheduled to take the examinations may now obtain their hall permits by visiting jam2025.iitd.ac.in. On the examination day, the admit card is an entry permit for candidates.
