Who, How, & Where To Apply?

Assam

  • Post-Matric Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC offers up to Rs. 1,200 per month. 

  • Eligible applicants include SC/ST/OBC students in Class 11 to postgraduate levels.

  • Applications can be made via the National Scholarship Portal (NSP).

Bihar

  • Chief Minister Medhavi Yojna provides Rs. 10,000 for Class 10 pass students who achieve at least 75% marks. 

  • Students can apply on the Bihar Government Scholarship Portal.

Gujarat

  • Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojana offers up to Rs. 1,20,000 per year for students scoring at least 80% in Class 12.

  • Applications are accepted online via the Digital Gujarat Portal.

Karnataka

  • Vidyasiri Scholarship provides Rs. 1,500 per month to SC/ST/OBC students pursuing higher education. 

  • Students can apply through the SSP Karnataka Portal

Kerala

  • Higher Education Scholarship grants Rs. 12,000 per year to meritorious students in Class 12 or above. 

  • Applications can be submitted via the Directorate of Collegiate Education.

Maharashtra

  • Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj Scholarship covers a full tuition fee waiver for SC/ST students pursuing professional courses.

  • Students need to apply on the MahaDBT Portal.

Punjab 

  • Ashirwad Scholarship provides up to Rs. 1,000 per month to SC/ST/OBC students in post-matric education.

  • Applicants must register on the Dr Ambedkar Scholarship Portal.

Rajasthan

  • Chief Minister Scholarship offers Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 25,000 per year to students scoring at least 60% in Class 12. 

  • Applications can be made via the Rajasthan SSO Portal.

Tamil Nadu

  • EVR Nagammai Scholarship provides Rs. 500 to Rs. 3,000 per year for female students from backward classes. 

  • Applications can be submitted at local education offices.

Uttar Pradesh

  • Pre-Matric and Post-Matric Scholarship grants up to Rs. 1,200 per month to SC/ST/OBC/Minority students from Classes 9 to postgraduate levels.

  • Students can apply on the UP Scholarship Portal

West Bengal

  • Swami Vivekananda Merit-cum-Means Scheme offers Rs. 8,000 to Rs. 12,000 per year to students from Class 11 to postgraduate levels with at least 75% marks. 

  • Applications can be submitted online via the WBMDFC Portal.

Andhra Pradesh 

  • Jagananna Vidya Deevena provides full tuition fee reimbursement for students pursuing ITI, polytechnic, or degree courses.

  •  Applications are made via the AP Government Scholarship Portal.

Arunachal Pradesh

  • Umbrella Scholarship for ST Students offers up to Rs. 1,200 per month to ST students from Class 9 to postgraduate levels.

  • Apply through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP).

Chhattisgarh

  • Matric Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC grants up to Rs. 3,800 per year to SC/ST/OBC students from Class 11 to postgraduate levels. 

  • Applications can be submitted via the CG Scholarship Portal.

Goa:

  • Dayanand Bandodkar Scheme provides Rs. 2,000 per month for students in higher secondary education. 

  • Applications can be made via the Goa Education Department.

Haryana

  • Dr Ambedkar Medhavi Chhattar Yojana offers Rs. 8,000 to Rs. 12,000 per year to meritorious SC/BC students from Class 11 onwards. 

  • Apply online via the Haryana Scholarship Portal.

Himachal Pradesh

  • Kalpana Chawla Scholarship grants Rs. 15,000 per year to the top 2,000 meritorious female students in Class 12.

  • Applications are accepted via the HP ePass Portal.

Jharkhand 

  • e-Kalyan Scholarship provides up to Rs. 25,000 per year to SC/ST/OBC students pursuing higher education.

  •  Students can apply online via the e-Kalyan Portal.

Madhya Pradesh 

  • Mukhyamantri Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana offers full tuition fee reimbursement for students scoring at least 75% in Class 12 from the state board.

  • Applications can be submitted via the MP Scholarship Portal.

Manipur

  • NEC Merit Scholarship provides Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 25,000 per year to students pursuing technical or professional courses. 

  • Apply through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP)

Meghalaya

  • Umbrella Scholarship for ST Students grants up to Rs. 1,200 per month to ST students in Class 9 to postgraduate courses.

  • Applications are made via the National Scholarship Portal (NSP).

Mizoram

  • Post-Matric Scholarship for ST Students provides up to Rs. 1,600 per month to ST students from Class 11 to postgraduate levels.

  • Apply through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP).

Nagaland

  • Nagaland State Merit Scholarship offers Rs. 6,000 to Rs. 12,000 per year to students with at least 70% marks in their last examination. 

  • Applications can be submitted via the Nagaland Scholarship Portal

Odisha

  • Biju Patnaik Scholarship for Meritorious Students grants Rs. 10,000 per year to top-performing students in Class 10. 

  • Apply through the Odisha State Scholarship Portal.

Sikkim

  • Merit Scholarship Scheme offers Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 25,000 per year to students pursuing higher education. 

  • Applications can be made via the Sikkim Education Department.

Telangana

  • Mahatma Jyothiba Phule BC Welfare Scholarship provides up to Rs. 20,000 per year to BC students in undergraduate or postgraduate courses.

  • Applications can be made via the Telangana ePass Portal

Tripura

  • Dr BR Ambedkar Post-Matric Scholarship grants up to Rs. 1,600 per month to SC/ST/OBC students from Class 11 to postgraduate levels.

  • Applications can be submitted via the National Scholarship Portal (NSP).

Uttarakhand

  • Uttarakhand Scholarship for Economically Weaker Students provides up to Rs. 2,000 per month to students from weaker economic backgrounds.

  • Applications are made via the Uttarakhand Scholarship Portal.

Andaman & Nicobar

  • Post-Matric Scholarship for ST Students grants up to Rs. 2,300 per month to ST students pursuing higher education.

  • Applications can be made via the National Scholarship Portal (NSP)

Chandigarh 

  • Post-Matric Scholarship for OBC Students provides up to Rs. 1,000 per month to OBC students pursuing higher studies.

  •  Apply through the Chandigarh Welfare Department Portal.

Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu 

  • Pre-Matric Scholarship for SC/ST Students grants Rs. 225 to Rs. 525 per month to SC/ST students in Classes 1 to 10.

  •  Applications are made via the National Scholarship Portal (NSP).

Delhi

  • Delhi Merit Scholarship offers Rs. 6,000 to Rs. 12,000 per year to meritorious students from economically weaker sections.

  • Applications can be submitted via the Delhi Government Portal.

Jammu & Kashmir

  • PMSSS (Prime Minister's Special Scholarship Scheme) provides up to Rs. 1.25 lakh per year for students from J&K pursuing undergraduate courses.

  • Applications are made via the AICTE PMSSS Portal.

Lakshadweep

  • Post-Matric Scholarship for ST Students grants full tuition fee reimbursement to ST students pursuing higher studies.

  •  Apply via the National Scholarship Portal (NSP).

Puducherry

  • Perunthalaivar Kamarajar Financial Assistance for SC Students offers Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 7,000 per year to SC students pursuing undergraduate or professional courses.

  • Applications can be submitted via the Puducherry Welfare Department Portal.
