All Medical Colleges To Be Rated On The Quality Of Medical Education From 2024-25 Session
Beginning with the 2024–2025 academic year, the nation's medical colleges—both public and private—will be graded according to the calibre of instruction they offer. In July, an agreement was made between the Quality Council of India (QCI) and the National Medical Commission (NMC) regarding the evaluation of medical institution ratings. According to Dr. Yogendra Malik, a member of the NMC's Ethics and Medical Registration Board, only government medical colleges are currently required to take part in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF). Malik made this announcement on Tuesday.

A Prime Minister's Research Fellowship Is Awarded To 14 BHU Scholars
Fourteen Banaras Hindu University research scholars have been granted the Prime Minister's Research Fellowship. The Institute of Environment and Sustainable Development, the departments of geology, chemistry, biochemistry, botany, and bioinformatics are home to the students. The researchers who have been chosen for the current PMRF cycle are: Ankita Gupta from the Institute of Environment and Sustainable Development, Garima Kandwal from the Department of Biochemistry, Prashasti Pandey from the Department of Botany; and Syona Tiwari from the Department of Bioinformatics. From the geology department, the researchers are Bandan Kumar, Aindabi Maitra, Kuhoo Madhav, R B Ananth, Raju Rai, and Sudipa Bhunia; and from the chemistry department, Deepika Sharma, Karmdeo Prajapati, Nikhil Srivastav, and Ritesh Tolani.
PM Modi Unveils A 5G Use Case Lab At The University Of Hyderabad
Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently introduced the 5G Use Case Lab, and the University of Hyderabad (UoH) is one of the three Telangana universities that was chosen to get it. 100 of these labs were introduced by PM Modi during the 7th India Mobile Congress in 2023. The "100 5G labs initiative" is responsible for the development of these labs. The university is anticipated to acquire equipment valued at roughly Rs 50 lakh as part of the 100 5G labs initiative. The university's School of Computer and Information Sciences will oversee the lab once it is up and running.
Over 2 Crore Students Registered In UGC’s Academic Bank Of Credits So Far: UGC Chairman
Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar, the chairman of the University Grants Commission (UGC), declared that more than two crore students nationwide had enrolled for the commission's Academic Bank of Credits (ABC). The chairman was speaking today (October 26) at the Maharaja Sayajirao University Baroda, Gujarat, to the vice chancellors of the western zone. The UGC chairman addressed the conference and discussed the advancements made in putting the UGC's proposed reforms into practise. One of the National Education Policy 2020's (NEP 2020) provisions was ABC.
Final CDS 1 Results For 2023 Are Announced By Upsc At Upsc.Gov.In
The final results of the Combined Defence Service (1) exam have been released by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). On the official UPSC website, upsc.gov.in, candidates who took the CDS (1) final exam can receive their UPSC CDS 1 result in 2023.
Recruitment For Summer Internships At IIM Ahmedabad Will Begin On October 31
On October 31, the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM Ahmedabad) will open applications for summer internships. Three cohorts of students enrolled in the postgraduate programme (PGP) at IIM Ahmedabad will participate in the summer placement 2023–2024. The PGP-FABM program's summer internship recruiting procedure for 2023–24 will take place on November 3.

Alert! IGNOU Admission 2024 Deadline Extended
The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the deadline for new admission to the July 2024 academic year. Students planning to apply for the July 2024 session of online distance learning (ODL) and online programs will now have another registration deadline. The revised deadline is 15th October 2024. Previously, the registration deadline for the ODL and online programmes was 30th September 2024.
KEAM 3rd Round Counselling Final Allotment
The Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) 2024 Round 3 seat allotment results were announced by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala on 6th of September 2024. Candidates who have registered for the counselling process can access the results by logging into the official website i.e, https://cee.kerala.gov.in/ with their application number and password.
DU NCWEB 3rd Round Admission Cutoff Released
The University of Delhi's Non-Collegiate Women's Education Board (DU NCWEB) has announced the third cutoff list for B.A and B.Com courses. Students who have submitted an application for admission to DU NCWEB in 2024 may access the third cut-off list by visiting the official website, ncweb.du.ac.in. Furthermore, the admission process has commenced. Additionally, students may consult the University of Delhi's official website, du.ac.in, to verify the cut-off list.
TS ICET 2024 Counselling Begins!
The Telangana State Council for Higher Education (TSCHE) commenced round 1 of the registration procedure for TS ICET counselling 2024 on 1st September 2024. The registration will be done at the official website tgicet.nic.in. Candidates can register till 8th September 2024.

IIT Madras Launches 6-Month Internship Program for B.Tech Students in 2024-25
The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) has introduced an innovative six-month internship program for B.Tech students to increase their chances of securing pre-placement offers and providing valuable industry exposure.
