MDI (Management Development Institute) Gurgaon Appoints Dr Arvind Sahay As New Director
Prof. Sahay's academic career started with a PGDM at IIM-A with a focus on marketing and finance after receiving a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from IITK. Prof. Arvind Sahay became MDI Gurgaon's director. Prof. Sahay was a Professor of Marketing at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A) prior to coming to MDI Gurgaon.
President Murmu Will Be Present At The Central University Of South Bihar's Convocation In Gaya
At the Central University of South Bihar's (CUSB) third convocation in Gaya on Friday, President Droupadi Murmu will be the special guest. Before concluding her three-day visit to the state with an attendance at the convocation ceremony, Murmu will also visit Mahabodhi Mahavihara, the world heritage site located in Gaya. In anticipation of the president's visit to Gaya, security has been stepped up. Around 11:50 a.m., the president is expected to arrive at the Mahavihara. She is supposed to make prayers at the sanctum sanctorum's Buddha statue and present flowers at the "Vajrasana" beneath the revered Bodhi tree.

The Junior Research Fellowship, Senior Research Fellowship in the humanities, social sciences, and sciences, Savitribai Jyotirao Phule Fellowship for Single Girl Child, Dr. DS Kothari Post Doctoral Fellowship (DSKPDF), and post-doctoral fellowship for women have all had their funding revised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). According to a UGC statement, only current beneficiaries would be eligible for the increased fellowship rates under the approved UGC schemes.

Alert! IGNOU Admission 2024 Deadline Extended
The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the deadline for new admission to the July 2024 academic year. Students planning to apply for the July 2024 session of online distance learning (ODL) and online programs will now have another registration deadline. The revised deadline is 15th October 2024. Previously, the registration deadline for the ODL and online programmes was 30th September 2024.
KEAM 3rd Round Counselling Final Allotment
The Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) 2024 Round 3 seat allotment results were announced by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala on 6th of September 2024. The University of Delhi's Non-Collegiate Women's Education Board (DU NCWEB) has announced the third cutoff list for B.A and B.Com courses. Students who have submitted an application for admission to DU NCWEB in 2024 may access the third cut-off list by visiting the official website, ncweb.du.ac.in. The Telangana State Council for Higher Education (TSCHE) commenced round 1 of the registration procedure for TS ICET counselling 2024 on 1st September 2024. The registration will be done at the official website tgicet.nic.in. Candidates can register till 8th September 2024.
