Government Announces 1 Crore Fine For Medical Colleges That Don't Follow The Rules
Regulator of medical education Medical colleges that violate standards now face a fine of one crore rupees from the National Medical Commission (NMC). The corresponding board may request further information "as and when deemed necessary" to determine if colleges are adhering to the standards, as stated in MSMER-2023, which requires medical institutions to provide an annual disclosure report. The medical college will be responsible for providing the information, according to the NMC.

Alert! IGNOU Admission 2024 Deadline Extended
The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the deadline for new admission to the July 2024 academic year. Students planning to apply for the July 2024 session of online distance learning (ODL) and online programs will now have another registration deadline. The revised deadline is 15th October 2024. Previously, the registration deadline for the ODL and online programmes was 30th September 2024.
KEAM 3rd Round Counselling Final Allotment
The Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) 2024 Round 3 seat allotment results were announced by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala on 6th of September 2024. Students who have submitted an application for admission to DU NCWEB in 2024 may access the third cut-off list by visiting the official website, ncweb.du.ac.in.
