UGC Opens A Whatsapp Channel To Receive Real-Time Updates About Postsecondary Education

For up-to-date information on higher education, the University Grants Commission (UGC) inaugurated the UGC India WhatsApp Channel on Monday. The goal of the UGC-India WhatsApp Channel is to promote a higher education environment that is both informed and inclusive. 

Students, instructors, institutions, and universities will be able to get real-time information about higher education with the debut of the new channel.

College and university faculties can gain access to up-to-date information on professional development opportunities, evaluation procedures, and curriculum adjustments via the WhatsApp channel. Conversely, students will have the option to monitor the channel for updates regarding tests, scholarships, admissions, and other pertinent details regarding higher education. The chairman continued, "This initiative establishes a precedent for utilizing digital tools to improve accessibility, transparency, and efficiency in the governance of education."
