Tomorrow, October 5, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will open the campus of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Jodhpur. The "future-driven" IIT Jodhpur campus has 10 departments, three schools, five centres, and six multidisciplinary programmes distributed across 852 acres of land.

More than 4500 students receive high-quality, inclusive, holistic education at IIT Jodhpur, which supports programmes for deep-tech innovation and cutting-edge research to help the economy. In 2008, IIT Jodhpur and seven other IITs were founded. On the Jodhpur-Nagaur Highway is where the institute is located.

Offering a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in cutting-edge subjects like Clean Energy, Artificial Intelligence, Bio-engineering, and more, the academic curriculum of IIT Jodhpur is in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and has various distinctive features.
