SASTRA UNIVERSITY, Thanjavur, has signed an MoU with the State University of New York, Binghamton, in New York State, to facilitate student and faculty mobility as well as joint degree programmes leading to undergraduate, post-graduate, and PhD degrees. SASTRA's VC stated that the primary focus areas would be Electronics Manufacturing, Biomedical Devices, and Digital Technologies, which will be aligned with India's semiconductor and other mission-critical initiatives. The Memorandum of Understanding was signed on June 20, 2023, and will be effective for the school year 2023-24.
SASTRA University offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate studies in fields such as science, engineering, medicine, education, the arts, law, and management. SASTRA University also provides scholarships to deserving students.
