IIM-A has partnered with DailyRounds to provide a management programme for doctors

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad has partnered with DailyRounds, a healthcare startup based in Bangalore, to deliver the 'Management Programme for Medical Professionals — Clinician X' (MPM-Cx). Candidates interested in pursuing the management programme for doctors can register at the official website for the third batch of MPM-Cx.

The academic session for this year will begin in September 2023, and classes will be held online by IIM Ahmedabad teachers. The course lasts six to seven months in total, including a two-day residential campus session at IIM Ahmedabad and a three-day global immersion experience at the National University of Singapore (NUS).

The programme costs Rs 6.25 lakh, including GST. A limited number of scholarships covering a portion of tuition fees are available for chosen students. The class will consist of 50 pupils. Candidates must go through personal interviews via phone calls based on their registration information. The course has a minimum eligibility requirement for MBBS.
This programme is designed to provide medical professionals with the necessary management skills to assume leadership roles, handle industry difficulties, and develop new methods to improve healthcare access and quality. It also seeks to bridge the gap between medical professionals and business leaders.

Graduates can work in a variety of disciplines after completing the degree, including managerial and administrative domains, developing their own entrepreneurial initiatives, working in healthcare policy and administrative roles, and more. The MPM-Cx programme covers not only management themes for clinical professionals such as finance, marketing, operations, policy-making, strategy, leadership and organisational behaviour, and communication but also modern topics such as data science, AI, and product management.
