On the occasion of World No Tobacco Day, Dr Jugajyoti Pathi, Deputy Director (Administration), spearheaded an initiative inspired by our Founder, Dr Achyuta Samanta's "Art of Giving" concept. To commemorate the day, the NSS unit and Department of Public Health Dentistry at Kalinga Institute of Dental Sciences (KIDS), a constituent of KIIT Deemed-to-be-University, Bhubaneswar, held a variety of programmes and events on May 30th and 31st, 2023.
After a decade, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has updated its undergraduate curriculum. On February 22 this year, the Institute Senate, the highest academic decision-making body, approved the new curriculum. According to IIT-Roorkee, the new curriculum would be available to students admitted to all BTech, BArch, BS-MS, and Integrated MTech programmes.
The competition for admission to medical colleges will be tougher this year because a greater number of students qualified for the National Eligibility Cumulative Entrance Test (NEET), the results of which were announced late Tuesday night, but there has been no significant change in the number of medical seats available since last year.

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the deadline for new admission to the July 2024 academic year. Students planning to apply for the July 2024 session of online distance learning (ODL) and online programs will now have another registration deadline. The revised deadline is 15th October 2024. Previously, the registration deadline for the ODL and online programmes was 30th September 2024.
The Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) 2024 Round 3 seat allotment results were announced by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala on 6th of September 2024. The University of Delhi's Non-Collegiate Women's Education Board (DU NCWEB) has announced the third cutoff list for B.A and B.Com courses. Students who have submitted an application for admission to DU NCWEB in 2024 may access the third cut-off list by visiting the official website, ncweb.du.ac.in. Furthermore, the admission process has commenced. Additionally, students may consult the University of Delhi's official website, du.ac.in, to verify the cut-off list.
The Telangana State Council for Higher Education (TSCHE) commenced round 1 of the registration procedure for TS ICET counselling 2024 on 1st September 2024. The registration will be done at the official website tgicet.nic.in. Candidates can register till 8th September 2024.

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee released the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2025) admit card on 7th January, 2025 at gate2025.iitr.ac.in. The examination is scheduled for 1st, 2nd, 15th, and 16th February 2025. It will last three hours.
The Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, has released the IIT JAM exam 2025 admit card on its official website. Candidates scheduled to take the examinations may now obtain their hall permits by visiting jam2025.iitd.ac.in. On the examination day, the admit card is an entry permit for candidates.
