West Bengal NUJS And IIT Kharagpur Sign An MOU

The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (NUJS) and IIT-Kharagpur have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a combined academic programme and faculty assistance for various programmes, the institute announced in a release on Saturday.

According to the policies on intellectual property, cooperative programmes in diverse domains will result in patent rights, copyrights, and other intellectual property rights.

The institute announced that in addition to academic exchanges, certificate and diploma programmes in the fields of law, science, engineering, and technology, as well as facilities, will be launched between the partner institutes.

The Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law Dean Prof Dipa Dube, its Associate Dean Prof Debashish Chakravarty, NUJS Director VK Tewari, and Registrar Capt. Amit Jain (ret. ) witnessed the signing of the MoU on Thursday at the IIT-Kharagpur campus.
