Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya Says NExt Will Be Available For The 2020 MBBS Class
Education News
The 2019 MBBS batch will not be required to take the National Exit Test (NExT), but the 2020 batch will, according to Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare Mansukh Mandaviya.
Mandaviya was interacting with students after laying the groundwork for a critical care centre at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Raipur. The union minister stated that the Centre and the National Medical Commission (NMC) will not make any decisions that cause students to be confused.
The National Exit Test will serve as a common qualifying final-year MBBS exam, a licentiate exam to practise modern medicine and for merit-based admission to postgraduate courses and a screening exam for foreign medical graduates who want to practise in India, according to recent NMC guidelines.
