UGC Introduces Its Annual Capacity-Building Plan For Staff Development

On Tuesday, January 2, the University Grants Commission (UGC) unveiled its annual capacity-building plan. The goal of this approach is to help employees develop and improve their skill sets.
In the presence of Dr. R Balasubramanium, Member HR, Capacity Building Commission, UGC Chairman Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar officially launched the organisation's Annual Capacity Building Plan (ACBP) today. As the first independent organisation, UGC has worked with the Capacity Building Commission (CBC) to start preparing for employee capacity building.
“The idea is to build, develop and enhance the abilities, talents, competencies, efficiency and qualifications of UGC employees to increase their capacity to serve the higher educational system in India,” Kumar said.
