Applications are being accepted for the master's program in cognitive science at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Gandhinagar. Interested parties must register online in order to take the entrance exam. To create a shortlist of candidates for interviews, a written test will be administered online. There will be no online interviews. The IIT Gandhinagar Cognitive and Brain Science program application forms can be accessed at admissions.iitgn.ac.in/pgadmission.

IIT Gandhinagar has established a cutting-edge Department of Cognitive and Brain Sciences to carry out top-notch research in the cognitive sciences, according to an institute release. Being the first IIT to launch an MSc in cognitive science in 2013 and a PhD program in cognitive science in 2010, it has led the way in the field of cognitive science.

According to the institute, the program offers a forward-thinking curriculum with core courses covering the interdisciplinary domains of neuroscience, psychology, philosophy, and computation. 

IIT Gandhinagar noted that one special aspect of the MSc program is the two-month summer internship that students pursue abroad with competitive fellowships like the Swiss Government Excellence Scholarship, the Shastri Indo-Canadian Fellowship, the DAAD Exchange Fellowship, the Computation and Cognition Tübingen Summer Internship, the Radboud Gateway Fellowship, and other top Indian universities like NIMHANS, Bengaluru, IIT Delhi, IIT Mandi, IIIT Hyderabad, and IIT Madras.
