PM Modi To Interact With VCs, Teachers, And Students At UGC’s G20 University Connect Event
Education News
The G20 University Connect Event, scheduled for September 26, 2023, has been mentioned in a letter from the University Grants Commission to HEIs.
Indian participation in the G20 University Connect Programme has been quite successful. The G20 Secretariat provided funding for the University Connect Programme, which was directed by the Research and Information System for Developing Countries (RIS), New Delhi. On September 26, 2023, at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, the Honourable Prime Minister would like to speak with vice-chancellors, principals, faculty members, and students from universities and colleges. At 1500 hours, the programme will get underway. Key members of the Indian G20 team would brief attendees on the C20 outcomes at the event, according to the UGC letter.
The National Capital Region's (NCR) higher education institutions are urged to take part by designating 30–40 students and two faculty members to attend the event. According to UGC, the institution's head is also invited to attend the occasion.
For efficient coordination, a faculty coordinator can also be suggested; their information, including their email and mobile number, can be given at dgoffice@ris.org.in. Faculty Coordinators and students should register at https://www.viablesoft.ors.in/risinvitationex o23VDionlineree lstratron.asDx, which is a live link on the RIS website.
