Nirmala Sitharaman highlights an exceptional 28% hike in the female education rate in the last ten years!

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has stated, "Female enrolment in higher education has increased by 28% in 10 years. In STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) courses, girls and women constitute 43% of enrolment - one of the highest in the world," in her recent speech.
As part of her announcement, she confirmed that 30 crore Mudra Yojana loans had been disbursed to women entrepreneurs, which reflects a concerted effort to provide financial support to them and promote their economic independence at the same time. Moreover, she emphasises that the government has made triple talaq illegal, seated 1/3 of women in both Parliament and state assemblies, and allocated over 70% of houses under the PM Awas Yojana to women, thus elevating their social status.
