On the occasion of World Youth Skills Day (July 15), Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan launched an artificial intelligence (AI) campaign.

This programme is a collaboration between the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), the National Council for Vocational Education and Skill, and GUVI, an Edutech incubated by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras and the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad as part of the Skill India Mission.

"This programme has been curated by GUVI in nine Indian languages." This is a solid start towards breaking down linguistic barriers in technological education and future-proofing our Yuva Shakti, especially in rural areas. Pradhan "encouraged GUVI to curate courses in all Indian languages."

Pradhan stated that technology should not be a prisoner of language and advocated for additional Indian language technology courses. He went on to say that this is a solid start towards breaking down linguistic barriers in technological education and future-proofing our Yuva Shakti, particularly in rural areas.
