IIT Madras Develops Innovative Electric Standing Wheelchairs
Kamakoti stated that the study is an important scientific effort led by IIT-Madras academics that will have a significant social impact. At the push of a button, 'NeoStand' allows wheelchair users to switch from sitting to standing, opening up a world of possibilities, such as engaging in eye-level talks, reaching for a book, or simply enjoying a cup of coffee standing by a counter. NeoStand, developed by the Indian Institute of Technology-Madras (IIT Madras), is a configurable electric standing wheelchair designed specifically for wheelchair users.
Only 32 State Universities Enrolled for CUET UG 2024 Examination
So far, 46 central universities and 32 state universities have enrolled for admission through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) 2024. UGC Chairman Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar revealed the information on the social media platform X. Along with central and state universities; there are 20 deemed-to-be universities, 98 private universities, and six government institutes that have registered.

Alert! IGNOU Admission 2024 Deadline Extended
The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the deadline for new admission to the July 2024 academic year. Students planning to apply for the July 2024 session of online distance learning (ODL) and online programs will now have another registration deadline. The revised deadline is 15th October 2024. Previously, the registration deadline for the ODL and online programmes was 30th September 2024.
KEAM 3rd Round Counselling Final Allotment
The Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) 2024 Round 3 seat allotment results were announced by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala on 6th of September 2024. Candidates who have registered for the counselling process can access the results by logging into the official website i.e, https://cee.kerala.gov.in/ with their application number and password.
DU NCWEB 3rd Round Admission Cutoff Released
The University of Delhi's Non-Collegiate Women's Education Board (DU NCWEB) has announced the third cutoff list for B.A and B.Com courses. Students who have submitted an application for admission to DU NCWEB in 2024 may access the third cut-off list by visiting the official website, ncweb.du.ac.in. Furthermore, the admission process has commenced. Additionally, students may consult the University of Delhi's official website, du.ac.in, to verify the cut-off list.
TS ICET 2024 Counselling Begins!
The Telangana State Council for Higher Education (TSCHE) commenced round 1 of the registration procedure for TS ICET counselling 2024 on 1st September 2024. The registration will be done at the official website tgicet.nic.in. Candidates can register till 8th September 2024.

IIT Madras Launches 6-Month Internship Program for B.Tech Students in 2024-25
The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) has introduced an innovative six-month internship program for B.Tech students to increase their chances of securing pre-placement offers and providing valuable industry exposure. Starting in the 2024-25 academic year, students will have their sixth semester free of core courses, allowing them to pursue extended internships or other professional experiences.
