SOA 15th In Country In NIRF Ranking 2023, Maintains Pre-Eminent Position

The Siksha 'O' Anusandhan (SOA) Deemed to be University here has maintained its pre-eminent position, ranking 15th among universities in the country in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) rankings for 2023, which were released on Monday in New Delhi by Union Minister of State for Education and External Affairs, Mr Rajkumar Ranjan Singh. 

This is the first time that SOA, a multi-disciplinary Deemed to be University, has entered the elite list of top 15 institutions of higher learning while ranking 26th in the overall category, up from 30th last year.

SOA, which was placed 16th in the country in 2022, has finished in the top 25 institutions of higher learning in the country for eight years since the Ministry of Education launched the NIRF rankings in 2016. Six times, SOA was placed among the top 20 universities in the country.

This time, SOA also improved in Medical Sciences, Dental Sciences, and Law. It increased its standing in Medical Sciences from 18th to 16th in the country in 2022, while Law finished 8th (9th in 2022) and Dental Sciences finished 9th (10th in 2022). SOA finished first in the university, medical sciences, dental sciences, and law categories overall.
