NIT Rourkela Records 100% Placement; 8 Students Receive Packages Totalling Rs. 52.89 Lakh

330 organizations have made 1534 employment offers to students at the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela, during placements for the academic year 2022–2023. According to a statement from NIT, the flagship BTech program produced almost 95% of the students that were placed.
100% of enrolled students were placed in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Ceramic Engineering, and combined degrees in Mining Engineering and Ceramic Engineering.
24 students have contracts for more than Rs 50 lakh per year, with Rs 52.89 lakh per year going to the eight who earned the highest package. The average (total) CTC increased from Rs. 11.15 lakh per year to Rs. 12.95 lakh per year. This year, the average CTC for a BTech degree is Rs 14.22 lakh.
For computer science engineering, the typical CTC is Rs 21.87 lakh annually. The average CTC is Rs 18.12 lakh for electronics and instrumentation engineering, Rs 17.97 lakh for electronics and communication engineering, and Rs 14.55 lakh for electrical engineering.
