New vice-chancellors are appointed to Mumbai University and SPPU

The office of Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais announced on Tuesday that Dr Suresh Gosavi and Ravindra Kulkarni had been named as the next vice-chancellors of Mumbai University (MU) and Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), respectively. The governor serves as the state's public colleges' chancellor.
The Governor also tweeted that Dr Sanjay Bhave has been named the new vice chancellor of Dr Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth in Dapoli.
Senior Professor Dr Kulkarni works for the Institute of Chemical Technology, and Senior Professor Dr Gosavi is employed by SPPU's Department of Physics.
