Jamia Millia Islamia Provides A BA (Hons) In Social Work, With Admission Via An Entrance Exam

Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) invites applications for admission to their new BA (Hons) in Social Work (BSW) course beginning in the academic year 2023-24. The course will be taught at JMI's Department of Social Work.

Interested and qualified candidates may apply online from the official website of JMI till June 24, 2023. From June 26-27, 2023, the internet site will be open for revising admission forms. According to Jamia Millia Islamia, the entrance exam will be held on July 15.

1) Course Title: – B.A. (Hons) Social Work

2) Total Seats: 20

3) Total Semester: 08

Eligibility: A Senior Secondary School Certificate examination with a minimum of 55% from any approved board is required. English is the medium of instruction and examination.

The total annual charge is INR 7,200*.

*Students enrolled in B.A. (Hons) Social Work Semester V must pay Rs 6,000 as a rural camp fee prior to the organisation of the rural camp activity (the amount may change depending on the actual current rate).

The entrance exam will last 1.5 hours (100 MCQs worth 1 point each) and will cover the following topics:

40% Social Awareness

20% English Language

20% logic and reasoning

20% General Knowledge & Current Affairs
