JMI And Pennsylvania University Meet To Discuss New Academic Collaborations And Exchange Ideas

The University of Pennsylvania Philadelphia has sent a delegation to the Jamia Millia Islamia. The group from the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, consisting of twenty people, has been greeted by vice chancellor Najma Akhtar. Peter Eckel, co-director of the Penn Project on University Governance and director of the Leadership Programme, serves as the delegation's leader.At Mir Taqi Mir Hall, the delegation interacted with deans, professors, and a select group of students.
The visit's goals are to promote idea exchange and investigate potential academic collaborations between the two schools. The group wanted to learn more about the quality, social relevance, and student experiences. It anticipates faculty work and research at JMI as well. JMI is committed to internationalising the institution and giving students a worldwide perspective through faculty exchange, student exchange, collaborative research, and conferences.
