IIT Guwahati And ICWA Announce An Agreement To Promote Expertise In International Issues

On July 19, 2023, the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati and the Indian Council of World Affairs (ICWA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop capacity and skills in international relations and foreign policy.
The Indian Council of World Affairs (ICWA), India's foremost and oldest think tank on foreign policy and international affairs, and IIT Guwahati have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) as a result of Vice President of India Jagdeep Dhankhar's visit to the Institute earlier this month.
GENERAL OBJECTIVE
On July 19, 2023, Professor Parameswar Krishnan Iyer, Officiating Director, IIT Guwahati, and Ambassador Vijay Thakur Singh, Director-General, ICWA, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on their shared goal of enhancing public understanding and knowledge of international affairs and Indian foreign policy. The contract will be in effect for three years. IIT Guwahati's officiating director, Professor Parameswar Krishnan Iyer, said the following during the MoU signing ceremony:
