A Decade of Excellence: IIM Sambalpur Embraces AI for Next-Gen Education

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Sambalpur is poised to revolutionise its educational approach by introducing artificial intelligence into classrooms to enhance students' learning experience. This significant announcement was made during the institute's 10th foundation day celebrations on 23rd September, 2024.
During the event, Honourable Professor Mahadeo Jaiswal, the director of IIM Sambalpur, emphasised that integrating AI into the classroom will facilitate a transformative learning environment. He also shared plans for a Women's Empowerment Summit scheduled for February, which aims to contribute to the vision of Viksit Bharat (Developed India).
Professor Jaiswal expressed his heartfelt gratitude to key figures such as the Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Education Minister Mr Dharmendra Pradhan for their support in establishing the institute.
The chief guest for the occasion, Mr. Uday A. Kaole, chairman and managing director of MCL, congratulated IIM Sambalpur on its achievements and commended Professor Jaiswal for his effective leadership.
Other distinguished speakers at the event included Dr Anurag Batra, who served as the guest of honour; Ms Nishita Baliarsingh, co-founder and CEO of Nexus Power; and Mr Anindya Ghosh, an associate partner at IBM. Their insights contributed to the festive atmosphere and underscored the importance of collaboration in education.
IIM Sambalpur's initiative to incorporate AI into its educational framework represents a significant step forward in modernising learning methodologies. By equipping students with the skills necessary for a rapidly evolving technological landscape, IIM Sambalpur not only honours its commitment to innovation but also plays a crucial role in shaping future leaders who are well-prepared for the challenges of tomorrow.
