IIM Kozhikode Opens A New Session With Around 600 Students, Including 45% Female Students

IIM Kozhikode Admissions 2023: The Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode (IIM-K) has welcomed 601 students under its flagship Post Graduate Programme (PGP), PGP-Liberal Studies and Management (PGP-LSM), PGP-Finance (PGP-F), and Doctoral Programme in Management (PhD) for the academic session 2023-24. According to the official release, pupils from all backgrounds have been accepted into the programme. There are 45 per cent female candidates among the 601 students. PGP-LSM has the most female candidates (52%), followed by PGP (48%), and PhD (47%).

A total of 12 international students, including five NRIs, have joined the institute via GMAT and CAT. The students are from Nepal, the USA, the UK, UAE, Oman and Germany. The flagship PGP programme is open to all international students. This is the first time that international students have been admitted to IIM-K.

This year, 58% of students come from non-engineering backgrounds, such as Science, Humanities, Arts, Commerce, Medical (MBBS), and Chartered Accountants. Approximately 67% of the cohort had prior work experience. Kerala is represented by 45 students. Out of 601 students, 483 are enrolled in PGP, 52 are enrolled in PGP-LSM, 49 are enrolled in PGP-F, and 17 are enrolled in DPM (PhD).
