CSAB-2023 and Co-Host JoSAA-2023 Will Be Held In NIT Rourkela
Campus News
This year, the "NIT+ System," which consists of 31 NITs, IIEST, 26 IIITs, 3 SPAs (School of Planning and Architecture), and 36 GFTI (Government Funded Technical Institutes), will conduct a centralised seat allocation process for admission to various undergraduate programmes.
The centralised seat distribution under the NIT+ system will be handled by the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB). For IITs, the Joint Admission Board (JAB) will run a similar process. For the IITs, the seat allocation process will be based on the common rank list (CRL) of students in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main), whereas for the "NIT+ system," the seat distribution process will be based on the CRL of candidates in the JEE (Advanced).
