The admission procedure for the academic year 2023-24 at Dr BR Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD) has begun. The Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) will be used to determine admission to the undergraduate programme at AUD.
The new academic year at AUD is expected to begin on August 1, 2023. According to the university's data, 4,72,357 candidates chose UG programmes, while 1,92,750 chose PG programmes. AUD is also ranked fourth among the top ten colleges in terms of NTA applications.
This year, 125 PhD programmes are available, including 18 undergraduate and 27 graduate programmes. There are 1,123 UG seats and 1,399 PG seats available. To boost the university's research culture, AUD has developed a new Merit Research Fellowship programme for PhD programmes. This includes measures for providing merit holders with a monthly allowance equal to UGC JRF. Researchers without a NET or JRF would be paid INR 16,000 per month in addition to JRF in AUD.
According to Vice-Chancellor Anu Singh Lather, 85% of Ambedkar University seats are reserved for Delhi Class 12 students. Students can apply for undergraduate studies online between June 16 and July 16 using their CUET number and date of birth.
"The new competence enhancement scheme has been implemented under the National Education Policy 2020," the university said in a statement. The primary goal is to enable professionals, members of society, and other individuals to return to higher education and re-skill in their areas of interest. People of all ages and vocations are welcome to apply. For CES, around 143 courses are offered by 14 different university schools."
