An online course series on emerging agricultural fields has been launched by the Indira Gandhi National Open University.

There are several options available at the institution, including certificates (six months), diplomas (one year), postgraduate certificates, postgraduate diplomas, and master's degrees. On the official website of IGNOU, ignou.ac.in, candidates can apply for courses.

IGNOU offers Open and Distance Learning (ODL) online programmes aimed at improving and sustaining the quality of life and productivity of agriculture and allied sectors. Through national and international linkages, the university intends to enhance the reach of agriculture education by harnessing the convergence between ODL and conventional systems. These programs teach various knowledge and skills such as organic farming, contract farming, farmers' producers' enterprises, management, processing, and marketing of agri-inputs, including those related to allied fields of agriculture and startup ventures.
