UGC NET December 2024 Registration Starts, Here’s How to Apply

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially opened the application window for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) in December 2024. • Application Correction Window: 12th -13th December , 2024

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Age: Candidates applying for JRF should be under 30 as of 1st January, 2025. No upper age limit exists for those applying for Assistant Professor positions or admission to PhD programs.

2. Educational Qualification: General/Unreserved/General-EWS candidates must have at least 55% marks in their Master's degree or equivalent from a UGC-recognized institution.

3. Candidates from OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PwD, or Third Gender categories are eligible with a minimum of 50% marks (without rounding off) in their Master's degree or equivalent.

Application Fee Structure:

1. General (Unreserved): Rs 1150

2. Gen-EWS/OBC-NCL: Rs 600

3. SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender: Rs 325
