Between June 13 and June 17, 2023, the National Testing Agency will conduct the UGC NET Phase 1 exam in two shifts. Candidates should get their admit cards from the official website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in to appear in the exam.

The National Testing Agency will conduct the UGC NET Phase 1 Exam Begins from June 13 to June 17, 2023. The University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) will be held in 2 shifts; Paper 1 will be held between 9 am and 12 pm. Paper 2 will be held between 3 pm and 6 pm. Candidates appearing in the examination are advised to get their admit cards from the official website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

UGC NET Phase 1 Exam: Do and Donts

• Candidates shall bring a printed copy of their admit card along with one passport-size photograph and an authorised photo ID such as a PAN card/ Driving License/ Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (With photograph)/ Aadhaar Enrolment No/ Ration Card.
• The registration desk will close half an hour before the start of the examination, so candidates should arrive two hours before the beginning of the examination to complete the frisking and registration formalities well in advance.
• Any activity that allows a candidate to gain an unfair advantage over other candidates, such as using someone to write an examination, breaching the rules of the test, or assisting another candidate in engaging in malpractice, shall be considered a breach of the exam guidelines.
• Students are prohibited from carrying out any stationery or other items such as instruments, geometry or pencil boxes, handbags, purses, paper or stationery, eatables, mobile phones, earphones, calculators, docu pens, slide rules, log tables, cameras, tape recorders, electronic watches, metallic items, or any other electronic gadgets or device.

Students shall note that if they are part of any malpractices or are found guilty of violating any examination rules or policies, their candidature will be cancelled, and due steps will be taken against them.
