Odisha JE Civil Exam 2023: OSSC Cancels JE Civil Main Written Exam Due To Paper Leak

A fresh Odisha JE Civil Exam will be held on September 3, 2023, after the leaked paper has resulted in the cancellation of the 2023 exam.

As a result of police confirmation that the question paper for the OSSC Junior Engineer (JE) civil main written examination had been leaked, the Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) cancelled the written test. On July 16, OSSC conducted the JE Civil Main examination 2023. Due to the cancellation of the previous exam, OSSC will conduct a fresh examination on September 3, 2023.

The official statement says, 'Based on the report of SP, Balasore (In connection with Sahadev Khunta PS Case No. 303 date 16.07.2023) and in terms of clause 11 of detailed advertisement for Combined Technical Services Recruitment Exam 2022 for group B state cadre posts in different offices under Government of Odisha. The Odisha Staff Selection Commission has made a decision to cancel the mains written exam for JE (Civil) conducted on May 16 as a part of the Combined Technical Services Recruitment Exam 2022. A fresh main written exam for JE will be conducted on September 3 2023. The commission sincerely regards the inconvenience caused to candidates.'
