NTA Extends The Deadline For NCET 2023 Applications To July 25.

Candidates wishing to enroll in the four-year integrated teacher education program (ITEP) at a central or state university or other institution, including an IIT or NIT, can submit their application by July 25 at 11:30 pm on the official website.

National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the deadline for submitting applications for its National Common Entrance Test (NCET) 2023. Candidates wishing to enroll in a four-year integrated teacher education program (ITEP) at the participating central and state universities and other institutions, including IITs and NITS, for the academic session 2023-24, may submit their applications online by 11:30 pm on July 25 at the official website -- ncet.samarth.ac.in. The corrections window for the NCET 2023 will be active from July 26 and July 27, 2023.

To appear in the NCET 2023, Candidates must have passed class 12 or equivalent examination. Candidates appearing in a similar exam in the academic year 2023 shall also be eligible for application submission. NCET 2023 will be conducted by the NTA in 13 languages via computer. The question paper includes multiple-choice questions. There will be four sections in the exam. In the first section, candidates will choose between 33 languages. 20 questions for each language will accompany the choice of languages. As part of section 2, candidates will choose three domain-specific subjects out of 26 available. Each subject will be accompanied by 25 questions. There will be 25 questions in the third section, which will be a general test. There will be 20 questions in the fourth section, a test that tests teaching aptitude. All questions in every section will be mandatory.
