Exam News
The National Medical Commission will begin the registration process for the NExT mock test on June 28, 2023.
A two-stage exam, the National Exit Test (NExT), will replace both the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) and the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduates (NEET-PG). The first part of NExT will consist of multiple-choice questions, while the second will consist of practical or clinical testing. Each Step will be administered twice per year. In the recent webinar held by the National Medical Commission (NMC), the examining authorities announced that the registration process for the mock test would start on June 28, 2023.
Students will be allowed to sit for NExT Step-1 at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi, in May and November. They will be allowed to sit for Step 2 after completing their internships, and the exam will be held in June and December. Candidates shall refer to the detailed notification issued by the NMC regarding the NExT and check the official website for timely updates.
