In the wake of heavy rains, the University of Mumbai has postponed semester exams. Only a few assessments and exam papers are left to be graded in a few courses, and all exams are being cancelled till July 20.
Due to heavy rains, the University of Mumbai has postponed semester exams. A few remaining assessments and the exam papers from the third-year Bachelor of Arts (TYBA) semester 5 have been delayed. The institution has cancelled all exams scheduled for July 20. The official notice reads as follows, 'The Head, University Departments, Director, Institute of Distance Learning, Director, Ratnagiri, Thane & Kalyan Sub Centre and the Principals of all affiliated Colleges in all Faculty concerned are hereby informed that the Tomorrow's Dated July 27 2023 all examinations are Postponed due to heavy rain and date will be announced later.'
India Meteorological Department (IMD) Mumbai issued an orange alert today, July 25, predicting severe to heavy rains in isolated areas of Maharashtra's capital and neighbouring Thane and Raigad.
