Delhi NMMS 2023: Registration Starts On August 7, Apply Now.

The registration process for the National Means-Merit Scholarship will begin on August 7 on its official website edudel.nic.in.

New Delhi, Ministry of Education Science, will begin the National Means-Merit Scholarship registration process on August 7. On the official website, edudel.nic.in, the Department of Education announced the Delhi NMMS exam schedule for 2023. On November 19, Delhi government school students in Class 8 can register for the scheme on edudel.nic.in. Between August 7 and September 9, Delhi government school heads can register students for the scheme.

Highlights of the Delhi NMMS exam 2023

• Candidates who scored 50% in the Class 7 examination can take the exam. 
• The student's family income should not be more than Rs 3,50,000 in the financial year 2023-24. Candidates are required to submit income certificates signed by the local subdivisional magistrates (SDMs). 
• SC and ST candidates will receive 15% and 7.5% reservations, respectively. Persons with disabilities (PWDs) will receive 4%. 
• It consists of two papers - Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) - each carrying 90 marks. It will take 90 minutes for each paper to be completed.
• The general category students must score 40% in both papers, while the reserved category students must score 32%.

Candidates can register using their school login Id and password on the official website of the directorate of education – edudel.nic.in. They can then complete the application form online and submit it with the required documents. Once the form is submitted, the candidate shall download the application confirmation page.
