NLU Delhi has modified the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) syllabus for admission to the BA LLB, LLM and PhD programs in 2024. Candidates can visit the official website – nationallawuniversitydelhi.in – to check out the updated syllabus of AILET 2024 for BA LLB, LLM and PhD programs.
For the BA LLB program:
- In total, 150 multiple-choice questions will be asked in three sections of the test.
- An examination will take 120 minutes and total 150 marks.
- Each incorrect answer will result in a deduction of 0.25 marks.
For the LLM program:
- The paper will have 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) worth one mark each. Multiple-choice questions will be based on different law branches.
- There will be a negative mark of 0.25 for each wrong answer.
- The LLM exam will last 120 minutes.
For PhD programs:
- There will be 100 multiple-choice questions, each carrying one mark.
- For PhDs in Law, the remaining 50 MCQs will be from different branches of Law, while for PhDs in social sciences, the remaining 50 MCQs will be from various branches of social sciences.
- Foreign nationals and candidates with a valid Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) are exempt from the All India Entrance Test for PhD admission.
