The application correction window is activated for the Flying Branch and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branches AFCAT 2 applications.

By today, candidates who apply for the courses commencing in July 2024 for the grant of Short Service Commissions (SSCs) in the Flying Branch and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branches may edit their AFCAT 2 forms already submitted through the Indian Air Force's official website at afcat.cdac.in, as the Correction Window for AFCAT 2023 will close at 11 am. The candidates shall refer to the advisory or instruction booklet issued by the examination authority before submitting the correction made.

This year's AFCAT examination will be held on August 25 and 27 of 2023. The examination will be taken in two shifts. There will be a morning shift which will start from 10 am to 12 pm and an afternoon shift which will run from 3 pm to 5 pm. In the exam pattern, there are 100 questions for 300 marks to access aspirants' knowledge in general awareness, verbal ability in English, numeracy ability and reasoning, and a military aptitude test.
