Vidula Jalan Scholarship For PGP Students Is Announced By ISB
Education News
The Vidula Jalan Scholarship was established, as announced today by the Indian School of Business (ISB). Beginning with the Class of 2025, two PGP students—one female and one male—will receive this scholarship based on need and merit.
Established to honour the memory of Vidula Jalan, a 2003 graduate of the ISB Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP), the scholarship is provided as a donation by the Anshuman and Vidula Jalan Foundation. This, according to ISB, is the biggest scholarship endowment they have ever received.
According to Anshuman Vikram Jalan, Trustee of the Anshuman and Vidula Jalan Foundation, Vidula has always had a great belief in the power of education to transform people's lives and advance society as a whole. He continued, "By assisting future leaders who might otherwise be limited by financial considerations to avail themselves of world-class management education at ISB, this scholarship enables us to honour her memory and put this ethos into practice."
Professor Madan Pillutla, Dean, ISB, said, “We are gratified to receive this support for our scholarship programme. It enhances our ability to bring in deserving individuals who would otherwise not be able to benefit from the education ISB provides and thereby maximise their potential. We look forward to making the most of this generous support to bring diverse talent into our upcoming PGP classes.”
