UGC Asks Colleges To Hold Special Assemblies Tomorrow To Witness Chandrayaan-3 Landing On Moon

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has requested colleges and institutions to hold special assemblies' tomorrow, August 23, between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m., to encourage students and faculty to witness the live webcast of Chandrayan-3's arrival on the moon. The landing of India's Chandrayan-3 on the moon will be televised live beginning at 5:27 p.m. tomorrow on the ISRO website -- isro.gov.in, the ISRO's official YouTube channel -- ISRO Official, the ISRO's Facebook page -- facebook.com/ISRO, and the DD National TV channel. India's Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, will also be present to witness this historic event.
UGC stated that the upcoming Chandrayaan-3 Mission will land on the Moon tomorrow and will be a big stride forward for Indian Science, Engineering, Technology, and Industry.
