UCL Introduces India Excellence Scholarships And A Summer School

On November 21, the University College London (UCL) announced a new scholarship programme that will allow 100 of India's top students to study at one of the world's leading universities in the UK.
According to the official announcement, 33 scholarships will be offered for the 2024-25 academic year and will be awarded to excellent students who have or are on track to obtain a first-class degree. A total of 67 scholarships will be awarded over the next two years. Prospective Master's students in any discipline can obtain a £5,000 scholarship through the UCL India Excellence Scholarships.
The aim behind setting up this summer school in India is to give pre-university Indian students a taste of what it’s like to study at a world-leading UK university. The inaugural UCL India Summer School will take place from 10-14 June 2024 and will feature five leading UCL professors delivering modules to 50 students in years 10 and 11, working in small groups.
