Putting Up Selfie Stations In Universities With The Prime Minister's Photo Is Optional, According To Pradhan
Education News
Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan stated on Thursday that institutions have been urged to set up selfie stations with photos of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This programme seeks to recognise the Prime Minister's global achievements that have made the country proud.
It's crucial to emphasise that, while setting up these selfie spots is encouraged, students are not required to take photos.
"We have seen since childhood that pictures of the president, prime minister, and Mahatma Gandhi are on the walls in schools and offices," Pradhan adds in response to certain Lok Sabha members' concerns.
According to the UGC, institutions are permitted to install selfie points only based on the officially approved designs and 3D layouts provided by the Ministry of Education.
