President Confers Degrees On Nagpur University Students And Encourages Them To Pursue Research

On December 2, President Droupadi Murmu conferred degrees on students at the 111th convocation of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University in Nagpur. The President praised the teachers of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University for their contributions to research, innovation, and technology. She mentioned that the Indian Patent Office had issued more than 60 patents to university academic members.
She advised students and teachers to focus on research and innovation while keeping local challenges and needs in mind, and to put these breakthroughs into action. According to the institution, it has an incubation hub to promote a start-up culture among students.
‘Remain curious, keep learning’
Addressing the students, the President said that getting a formal degree is not the end of education. They should remain curious and keep learning. Today, when rapid changes are taking place in the field of technology, it becomes even more important to keep learning continuously.
