Odisha Government signs MoU for establishment of NMIMS university

The Odisha government and the SVKM trust have inked a Rs 300 crore MoU to construct NMIMS University in Bhubaneswar with a 40-acre land allocation, signalling a big step forward in the state's educational development.
The MoU was formally signed during a ceremony at the Lok Seva Bhawan. Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak, Minister of Higher Education, and other visitors were present.
As part of this groundbreaking agreement, the Odisha government has allocated 40 acres of land on lease in Goudakashipur, Jatni, Bhubaneswar for the establishment of the university.
Furthermore, the Minister emphasised the collaboration's transformative potential as a pioneering effort to enhance educational possibilities in Odisha.
The plan, envisioned as the establishment of a renowned educational campus near Odisha's revered temple city, aims to cater to different academic needs while closely aligning with the state's commitment to improving higher education quality.
