List Of PSUs Who Hire Based On GATE 2024 Scores

GATE scores are crucial for applicants seeking admission to elite universities like IITs and NITs for M.Tech or Ph.D. programs.  Additionally, candidates can use GATE to secure PSU Recruitment by utilizing their scores.

The results of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024 will be used to hire candidates by a number of public sector companies, including the Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Engineers India Limited (EIL), and the Airports Authority of India (AAI). 

Papers on civil, chemical, mechanical, and electrical engineering will be used to recruit candidates for EIL, while the GATE 2024 results of papers in architecture, civil engineering, electrical engineering, electronics and communication engineering, computer science, and information technology will be used for AAI recruitment.

Chemical engineering, civil engineering, computer science and information technology, electrical engineering, electronics and communication engineering, instrumentation engineering, mechanical engineering, and metallurgical engineering papers' GATE 2024 results will be utilized by the IOCL.

Previously, GATE 2024 exam takers would be eligible to apply for the position of Executive Trainee (Tech) at National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) Limited. 

The GATE 2024 score will also be used by the Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) to hire the Executive Trainees 2024 batch in the following six engineering specialties: mechanical, chemical, civil, electrical, electronics, and instrumentation.

Several PSUs such as NTPC, ONGC, SAIL, BHEL, IOCL, BPCL, HPCL, and IOCL conduct recruitments based on GATE Scores. In contrast, other PSUs like BARC, BEL, HAL, MECON, ISRO, NIELIT, and ECIL organize separate examinations to onboard engineering graduates.
